Neo Hero Foundation

NeoHERO™ is a South Carolina based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on March 7, 2025. NeoHERO’s™ founder is Lindsay Spurgeon, a Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with additional Board-Certification in Neonatal and Pediatric Transport. The NeoHERO™ mission is to improve neonatal health by providing expert guidance, resources, equipment, and education to emergency responders in prehospital transport.

The NeoHERO™ purpose is to collaborate with and support first responders by providing them with ongoing education and certification of neonatal resuscitation through the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), as well as providing simulation, class-time, training, and equipment.
